Nathaël writes: In the picture (below), I am on a bench with the Hungarian girls. To me,
meeting the Europeans was simply amazing. Being able to speak our mind about
our culture and our feelings with young people who may not think like us is
awesome. Talking freely with them despite our differences was really enriching.
Mélanie writes: this picture (below) was taken when Raphaëlle and I interviewed the English delegation.
It was kind of difficut because the room was crowded and so there was a lot of
noise. The groups had all brought typical food from their countries. I took
part in other activities such as the board game evening on Thursday night. One
special moment which I will remember for a long time is when I played
basketball and football during break time with a lot of people from the different
countries. I got to meet a lot of incredible new people and, let me tell you,
they are really good players!
Manon writes: The visit of the European pupils was simply unforgettable!
The people were very friendly and I didn't have any problems with understanding
what they were saying; they spoke very clearly. Here is (below) a picture of me and Louis, my group leader.

Louanne writes: In this picture (below), Mr Germain and Miss Saby are about to give the European
Youth Conference Flag to the delegates of next year’s host country: Hungary.
This year marked the 10th anniversary of the Y2K Conference, and so
France decided to do something special. On the flag, you can see
"F17" written in the first star. That means "France 2017".
They explained that they wanted it to be like the Olympic Torch, which I think
is very cool!
Marie-Sarah writes: During the
Conference, I felt really happy to be around so many nationalities and
cultures. It was such a rewarding experience to be able to have discussions
with these European teenagers and to discover the differences between their
cultures and our own. So yes, I felt happy and lucky.
